Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 6 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Power Generation, power plant
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Design and implement modern mechanical maintenance strategies, procedures and methods of Boiler and Turbine (Sugar refinery plant)
∎ Carry out schedule and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical equipment including large capacity Steam boiler (Capacity more than 100 TPH 100 kg/cm2), back pressure steam turbine and its Auxiliaries
∎ Develop preventive and predicative maintenance system and minimize break down time
∎ Track and improve key maintenance parameters such as Asset utilization, Maintenance Cost, Performance Management Compliance, Schedule Compliance etc.
∎ Ensure requisitioning of machine parts and supplies on time and maintain inventory of spare parts on regular basis
∎ Prepare costing report against production of gas, steam, water and electrical power on daily basis for cost optimization
∎ Train and develop maintenance team to increase technical skills
∎ Maintain proper plant housekeeping and keep environment clean
∎ Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed both inside and outside of the plant
∎ Place Posting: Meghnaghat, Sonargaon, Narayanganj
Additional Requirements:
∎ Graduate Engineer should have at least 6 years' experience in maintenance of mechanical equipment in a steam based Boiler and Turbine, where 2 years in a similar position and Diploma Engineer should have at least 8 years' experience where 4 years in a similar position.
∎ Knowledge on international codes and standards
∎ knowledge on best practices power plants' design, construction and O&M
∎ Ability to control large capacity Boiler and Back pressure steam turbine (More than 100 TPH 100 kg/cm2 )
