∎ BSc in Textile Engineering
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Follow up on development and exceptions with the team and communicate with suppliers for both local and overseas to streamline the process and schedule.
∎ Prepare product-wise risk analysis and discuss with mills in OTM to minimize risk at the bulk stage.
∎ Negotiate standard fabric lead time based on product group and set standard lead time across local and overseas suppliers before starting of the season.
∎ Regular visits to plants and local mills to ensure proper processes in place and that fabric are being delivered within the agreed lead time with correct quality.
∎ Regular monitoring on mill performance and quality evaluation to work with mills for continuous improvement.
∎ Closely work with factory planning, merchandising and store team to keep optimum fabric delivery and maintain proper inventory as per plan.
