Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree or equivalent to Civil Engineering or similar field from a recognized local or international university
∎ Master's degree in business (MBA, MBT, MBM, MPM) or equivalent from a recognized local or international university will be considered as an added advantage
∎ PMP or PRINCE2 certification will be preferred, IEB (Institute of Engineers Bangladesh) Full Membership or P. Eng certification will be considered as an added advantage
Job Context:
∎ Co-ordinate with the NTC`s (All Countries) and manage NTCs` plans, policies, programs and projects, to provide telecommunications network and site infrastructure related services aligned with Group Engineering and CODE objectives
∎ Drive CODE objectives, processes, and tools capability, to maximize organizational and operational excellence and efficiency
∎ Drive the structural integrity initiatives for buildings and structures
∎ Ensure site wise capex savings, unified design standard and faster turnaround for site delivery
∎ Ensure continuous research & development takes place across all the entities in order to reduce dependency on steel and to provide greener structures
∎ Implement changes, to enhance organizational capabilities in managing the passive infrastructure assets portfolio aligned with international best practices for safety, efficiency and quality, to meet customer requirements
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate closely with all NTC's (All Countries) to establish CODE vision and lead technology development, according to strategic direction and growth objectives
∎ Provide Reporting and Documentation for different initiatives of CODE
∎ Monitor per site capex and ensure site cost savings aligned with organizational goals
∎ Provide necessary support in Business Planning /Business Case approval /RFQ/ Review of major contracts on ad hoc basis
∎ Build and manage a high performing design team to drive innovations and oversee research and development, as well as project management.
∎ Identify opportunities and risks to deliver company services, including competitive services, innovative opportunities and market obstacles
∎ Evaluate and select appropriate technology platforms and tools to deliver CODE services
∎ Work with management team, to establish governance processes (ISO Certification), ensure achievement of CODE objectives, risk management
∎ Establish and ensure adherence to technical standards (Design SOP) for product development and company operations
∎ Ensure the implementation of structural integrity programs across NTCs, including Tower Preventive Maintenance and Building Structural Feasibility
∎ Assurance of standard SLA for all NTCs, ensuring the edotco standard design implementation
Additional Requirements:
∎ Working Experience:
∎ 6+ years of relevant experience, with 3+ years in a multinational and telecommunications Industry and combined management experience in construction industries
∎ Experience in project management, planning and execution will be an added advantage
∎ Knowledge and Skills:
∎ Understanding of telecommunications operators / communications service providers, key business and technology drivers, network infrastructure support requirements etc.
∎ Understanding and basic knowledge on structural design of concrete and steel structures
∎ Strong oral and written communication skills in English
∎ Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
