Educational Requirements:
∎ B.Sc in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/IPE/Chemical) or Business graduate from any Public or reputed Private University with distinctive academic background.
∎ Post graduate diploma in SCM will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Purchase/ Procurement, Supply Chain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Steel
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the procurement (foreign & Local) process for assigned project(s).
∎ Procuring steel material by effective sourcing from international and local market.
∎ Ensure best price for steel purchasing with the aim of contributing to the business profitability.
∎ Moving with updated steels rate before finalized any deal.
∎ Ensure on time delivery of every required material for smooth production within the stipulated time
∎ Collecting information from steel market regarding updated price and reporting accordingly to the supervisor.
∎ Maintaining strong liaison with all internal and external stockholders related to protect business interest.
∎ Follow up P2P process for responsible business Division.
∎ Reporting, presenting and evaluating steel or related materials price comparison with updated market information.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Candidates having Experience in prefabricated steel structure project procurement will get preference
∎ Sound knowledge on procuring technical equipment/materials for steel structure projects
∎ hands on experience in raw material planning
∎ Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
∎ Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
∎ Good command in MS Office
∎ Must have the mindset to work under pressure with positive attitude
Salary: Negotiable
