Job Responsibilities:
∎ Chalk out the annual schedule of electrical maintenance of all sections of the plant in consultation with the supervisor.
∎ Assign tasks to electrical maintenance and utility team according to the Annual Plan.
∎ Inspect electrical sub-station, boiler, crane, belt conveyor, jetty pump house, generator and air compressor to identify the hazards and defects necessary for adjustment or repair.
∎ Maintain Motor Control Center and PLC room to ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the plant.
∎ Maintain all maintenance records according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
∎ Look after the preventive maintenance work in electrical section.
∎ Conduct trend analysis regarding the troubleshooting of recurring problems.
∎ Arrange On the Job Training (OJT) sessions with a view to developing skills of the team players.
∎ Take necessary measures to keep work environment safe, healthy and clean according to the requirement of standards and laws.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Practical knowledge on electrical substation, electrical wiring, cabling, PLC, SCADA, MCC, compressor, electromagnetic flow transmitter, temperature transmitter, pressure transmitter, level transmitter, density transmitter and pneumatic positioner etc. is necessary.
∎ Sound interpersonal skills.
∎ Analytical skills and problem solving abilities.
