Responsibilities & Context:

The Salon Therapist/Beautician is responsible for delivering high-quality beauty and wellness services to resort guests, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring guests enjoy a relaxing and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Services

• Welcome guests warmly and provide professional consultations regarding salon services.

• Perform beauty and grooming treatments according to guest needs and resort standards.

• Ensure guests are comfortable and satisfied throughout their treatment.

• Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and feedback professionally.

Salon Services

• Provide services such as:

  • Hair cutting, styling, washing and treatments.

  • Hair coloring and basic chemical treatments.

  • Manicure and pedicure services.

  • Facials and skincare treatments.

  • Waxing, threading and basic makeup services.

  • Head, neck, hand and foot massages .

• Recommend suitable beauty and wellness products to guests.

Operations & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene of all salon areas, equipment, and tools.

• Sterilize equipment before and after each use.

• Ensure adequate stock levels of salon products and supplies.

• Report maintenance issues and inventory shortages to management.

Resort Experience

• Promote resort spa, wellness and recreational services to guests.

• Coordinate with the Front Office and Reservations teams regarding appointments.

• Uphold the resort's service standards and brand image.

Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in Beauty Therapy, Cosmetology or a related field.

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a salon, spa, hotel or resort environment.

• Knowledge of beauty treatments, hygiene and customer service standards.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Pleasant personality with a professional appearance.
