Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Social Science (BSS)
∎ Study on Disaster management, community development, and any Relevant courses
∎ Skills Required: Ability to Drive Motorbike, Donor Compliance, Goverment liaison, Reporting and Documentation

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Community Mobilization , Data Collection, Disaster Risk Reduction, Field or Project Organizer, INGO, Project Implementation

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Implementation: (Accomplished the project activities as per design)
∎ Ensure all project activities are successfully implemented within schedule and as per budget.
∎ Comply with financial policies and procedures in project transactions as per WVB and USAID guidelines.
∎ Contribute to effective and timely implementation of Community Led-DRR interventions and initiatives with communities and partners.
∎ Mobilize local government and other stakeholders to proactively take part in strengthening community resilience to shocks and stresses.
∎ Facilitate capacity building and relevant training to staff, community members and partners related to DRR strategies and community based approaches.
∎ Develop and maintain networks with external actors in the Triangle and across the border on DRR, Early Warning/Early Action and emergency response/recovery.
∎ Support the contingency planning process including ward, union and Upazila disaster preparedness and response interventions.
∎ Mobilize community engaging in the development processes:
∎ Establish and maintain effective management tools, work plan management, procurement, budget management, quality assurance, beneficiary accountability, programmatic and financial reporting;
∎ Ensure grant management compliance
∎ Ensure the participation of women, person with disable in project implementation
∎ Engage with children in safe and appropriate ways

∎ Reflection & learnings:
∎ Continue reflective practice and promote its use in self and with others
∎ Optimize learning through experience and use critical thinking and analysis effectively.
∎ Contribute to develop a positive team environment
∎ Support individual, team spiritual growth and organizational learning

∎ Facilitate Monitoring and Evaluation processes at community level:
∎ Ensure that monitoring and evaluation process are effectively done
∎ Ensure community is undertaking community-led monitoring and using information to track progress of community development plans
∎ Maintain beneficiary profile to track primary beneficiary of the program
∎ Ensure proper documentation of primary data sources and reports
∎ Program and Financial Management:
∎ Ensure activities follow DIP and budget and financial guidelines to achieve satisfactory spending (100%).
∎ Develop work tasks as per Detail Implementation Plan (DIP) and technical program implementation guideline
∎ Ensure that all transactions comply with field financial standards.
∎ Ensure regular monitoring of expenditure of the project
∎ Monitor financial performance of Partners and support financial compliance of projects.
∎ Reporting and Documentation:
∎ Contribute and facilitate monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and Annual report generated in accordance with compliance format.
∎ Adequate record keeping of all programmes and correspondences ensured.
∎ Communication and ensure responses to the queries of the donor and National Office.
∎ Professional and personal development:
∎ Proactive learning through a habit of reading, exploring online learning opportunities and willingness to apply learning into work
∎ Always look forward to the next stage development through the application of common sense and context

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Minimum 2-5 years of working experience in project implementation including DRR, context knowledge of operational area is an added bonus.
∎ Must have knowledge and skills of project implementation and management
∎ Ability to drive motorbike with valid driving license
∎ Ability to work in different target groups
∎ Oral and written communication skills in English and Bengali
∎ Ability to work in a team
∎ Work under pressure and can take additional responsibilities
∎ Basic computer literacy using of Microsoft Office Microsoft Word, Excel & MS Power Point
∎ People management experience.
∎ Able to create a working environment where team members have equal rights to listen, speak up and contribute to achieve a common goal of the project
∎ Must live in the project working area and 80% fieldwork is expected. Ready to accept the challenges and cope with the changes

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Salary will provide as per organizational policy
