∎ Brief on the Project:- The project seeks to improve the electric three-wheeler charging (E3W) ecosystem through better battery technology and smart asset financing. Our solution proposes to strengthen the value chain from battery supply, distribution, financing, and product offering through a technology platform whereby both garage owners and EV drivers benefit. This will give drivers access to batteries and financial products which are better suited to the market, reduce default risks and remove the heavy burden drivers currently invest in maintenance and ownership costs. Better financing mechanisms and leasing models combined with better battery management could increase driver incomes by 25%.
∎ Moreover, IDF is working on solar mini grid, solar rooftop, solar home system and solar irrigation system with the assistance of a government owned company named as Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCOL).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of the project at the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) level. S/he will work under the direct supervision of the Executive Director/project focal person of the organization. The duties and responsibilities of the Project Manager are as follows:
∎ Implementing the electric three-wheeler (E3W) project including solar charging station in line with the project plan and budget;
∎ Arranging orientation meeting with EV drivers and garage owners regarding functionality of E3W including Lithium-ion battery and soledongle management system;
∎ Data mining and data analysis from the dash board/data archives;
∎ Supervise and monitor the project and program activities;
∎ maintaining regular liaison with the donor and implementing partner;
∎ working on solar mini grid, solar rooftop, solar home system and solar irrigation system;
∎ Preparing monthly, quarterly and half yearly progress reports and submit to Executive Director/Focal person of IDF in time;
∎ Coordinating with microfinance team and Project Management Unit of the organization and performing any other tasks assigned by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 3 years relevant experience especially in renewable energy sector including solar mini grid, solar rooftop, solar home system and solar irrigation.
∎ Candidates with sound knowledge in Lead Acid and Lithium-ion battery mechanism will get priority.
∎ Training in Project Management/Entrepreneurship Development will be treated as extra quality;
∎ Should have good operating skills in Microsoft Office package;
∎ Should have excellent communication and report writing skills both in Bangla and English;
