Job Context:
∎ 1. We are looking for a Project Manager to look after a Turnkey project under Adex Group of Companies.
∎ 2. Indian or Sri Lankan with vast experience in Project Management will be preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Communication with Client, Consultants and main Contractor.
∎ 2. Execute effective plan, implement & monitor of Project.
∎ 3. Understanding the design & requirements to implement as represented in drawings.
∎ 4. Make necessary external and internal communications as and when required
∎ 5. Project planning, work schedule, manpower management, equipment requirements, etc. before starting the Project.
∎ 6. Arrange calls / meetings on regular basis with Project Engineers, Site Engineers & contractors to supervise and consult about overall project planning, progress, and maintain the schedule.
∎ 7. Should understand contract documents, agreements & tenders-related issues.
∎ 8. Keep a record of all documents like Drawings, BOQ, Contract Documents, Cost sheets, PO for contractors, Approved layout etc.
∎ 9. Coordinate with the design team, coordinators, accounts team, procurement team and business development team as well as submit reports and present the overall progress with Team leader & Chief Officers.
∎ 10. Prepare and check work orders for contractors, manage internal requisition software, issuing cash required for site stuff.
∎ 11. Instruct the site engineers for keeping a proper record of work quantities, labor quantities, daily conveyances, materials consumption, and optional works like dismantling/ breaking, additional works, etc., and supply it to HO for calculation of cost as and when required.
∎ 12. Take necessary action for rectifications/ modifications of works as claimed by the clients and agreed/ approved by CIL before/during project handover procedure time
∎ 13. Perform site inspections on regular basis to follow up on work progress of Project ensuring that work progress is carried out as per the approved work schedule while guaranteeing that the timeliness of the project meets the target dates (attend progress meetings) and that appropriate resources are allocated as per the contractual agreement.
∎ 14. To be accountable for the successful completion of Silo project civil works
