Job Context:

The core focus of Uttaran programs are human rights, land rights and agrarian reform, community based river basin management, sustainable water management, adaptation to climate change, ecological agriculture and food security.
∎ Uttaran in partnership with BSRM "BSRM-Uttaran Submersible Pipeline Water Supply Project" (BUSPWS). Water Project" Ensure regular supply of saline free safe water for drinking and house hold work, create opportunities for women to engage in income generating work, school children to carry school bags instead of water pitcher, prevent suffering from Water Related health problems and save cost on medicine. project interventions area in Tala Upazila and Satkhira district.
∎ It is full time position.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Drawing, design, overall supervision construction of piped water network and production well as well as collaborative work with logistic/ procurement to support quotation prepare, collection, evaluation, contractor selection, contracts signing, orders, work order issue and purchases.
∎ Regular monitoring and supervision of piped water distribution network, production well construction works.
∎ Technical supervision and cross checking of construction materials of water supply infrastructure before installation with specifications, drawing, design quality and quantity.
∎ To maintain up-to-date records of all field level activities to show a status of the work, the status of construction materials, equipment at store and construction sites.
∎ Conduct regular monitoring and full technical supervision and provide technical inputs to the beneficiaries.
∎ Manage construction contractor by providing engineering support during project construction and process contract change orders and design revisions.
∎ Perform other relevant duties as required for the successfully project implementation and as well as the organizational requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Practical work experience in water supply system with piped water network preferable.
∎ COMPETENCES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY & ATTITUDE): Team management - Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability - Computer skills (Have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, GIS, MS Office).
Salary:
∎ Monthly salary package is BDT 55,000.
