Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc in Civil Engineering from BUET or any other Leading Engineering University [Local or Overseas University (preferable)]
∎ Msc in Civil Engineering
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop and Maintain Professional Relationship with the Respective Client Departments, Local & International Project Consultants, and Value Chain Partners
∎ Tender Participations and Evaluating tender submissions in regards to technical and financial criteria (Intelligent bidding ability)
∎ Recruiting Project Managers and relevant personnel for assigned/awarded Projects
∎ Monitoring all Project Managers for assigned projects, Coordinating with them for making overall program of project, contract administration, management and quality control, overall project with respect to cost, time, program, quality and safety
∎ Oversee and manage the project team to ensure timely delivery according to planned milestone dates in the project, within resources allocated and in compliance with contractual requirements
∎ Working on Contract Variations, Project time extension if required, Contractual Claims; certification of all type of payment as per FIDIC condition of contract
∎ Responsible for Review/modifications in designs and working drawings, Review of Investigations and Surveys and Data Adequacy, Finalization of Construction Programme, Resource planning (identification of resource requirements, financial resources, manpower, construction materials, construction equipment, suppliers etc.),
∎ Responsible for contract administration, management and quality control, Preparing QC & QA plan of the project, providing training and guidance to the Engineers, Supervisors, Surveyors, quality control staff and other works execution staff team.
∎ Monitoring & Maintaining cost effective balance between time and resources for every project item.
∎ Any other Project(s) relevant tasks assigned by the Director.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills required: Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Microsoft Project, strong analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills in Bangla and English
∎ Working Experience:
∎ MUST have at least 15-20 years working experience in Roads/Highways, Flyover, Bridge and/or Building Construction (FIDIC) Projects
∎ Applicants must have proven, verifiable and significant experience working in ADB and JICA funded infrastructure projects (Lot of references will be needed, along with evidence that applicant has successfully implemented large-scale infrastructure projects)
