∎ Age 35 to 42 years

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • To ensure optimum engineering design compliance to codes and performance and timely issuance of engineering deliveries to client.
∎ • Prepares updates and checks calculations for detailed engineering.
∎ • Contributes to optimization of material quantities by proposing value engineering solutions.
∎ • Carry out design review, design, verification and value engineering studies.
∎ • Prepare technical submittals, methods statements, technical , notes, design alternatives.
∎ • Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering / requisitioning activities to the higher authorities.
∎ • Meets quality objectives of the project.
∎ • Interfaces with other discipline specialist engineers and possibly project support functions such as procurement and planning.
∎ • Correctly interpret 3rd party reports such as geotechnical, survey data for the incorporation into structural design basis.
∎ • Site investigations and site supervisors.
∎ • Co-ordinate with clients & contractors.
∎ • Co-ordinate with safety, QA/QC and multi-disciplinary.
∎ • Follow up and troubleshooting of construction site technical problems.
∎ • Follow up structural and civil team.
∎ • Provide guidance and mentoring to more junior engineering employees.
