Job Responsibilities:
∎ SUNGROW is seeking to hire an essential member to Bangladesh team who will be involved to expand the IPP & Project Development business of Utility Scale Solar Power Project. The business specialist will identify and help evaluating utility-scale solar power project for greenfield & brownfield development with maintaining key job responsibilities such as:
∎ Identify, develop and secure potential opportunities with a sustainable pipeline according to Bangladesh Govt's Renewable Energy Development plan.
∎ Build and maintain cordial relation with power sector organizations like BPDB, SREDA, EGCB, NWPGCL, RPCL, APSCL , IPPS, local government, communities and relevant bodies.
∎ Manage entire project development process and come up with risk mitigation plan in each milestone
∎ Liaise with Group team to resolve financial models and risk control requirements.
∎ Define project scope, budget, execution approach that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
∎ Support in completing due diligence and assessment into land identification, feasibility studies, permission approval, grid connection and environmental impact assessment
∎ Obtain company objectives through strategic and tactical plan.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Must have minimum 5 years of experience in working at IPP/BOO/Quick Rental projects ( Solar, HFO, Diesel/LNG) as part of business development division.
∎ Sufficient knowledge on developing IPP projects in Bangladesh from beginning up to receive LOI/PPA signing. Familiar with maintaining fruitful communication with BPDB's Renewable Energy/IPP Cell/Private Power Generation /P & D division.
∎ Strong understanding on Bangladesh Power Sector market including Generation, Transmission & Distribution with operation of related utility companies & other stakeholders.
∎ Preparation of solicited/Tender base IPP project proposal & help HQ team in technical & commercial part. Experience in International tender preparation is highly appreciated.
∎ Knowledge on land lease/land buying/land acquisition matters for construction of IPP base power plant.
∎ Having target oriented mindset to meet yearly KPI set by supervisor & achieve contract/work order.
∎ Excellent Communication Skills with strong command in Spoken and Written English.
