Job Context:
∎ PARI Development Trust is a national NGO registered with NGOAB working in greater Mymensingh. PARI is implementing community development, maternal & child health, nutrition, food Security livelihood, agriculture and child rights program in several Upazilas of Mymensingh, Netrokona, Sunamganj, Jamalpur, Sherpur and Tangail districts. PARI is going to implement a 3 years` period project "Children Youth and Communities for Change(CYCC)" from July 2023. This project focuses on engaging children, youth and adult male and female to promote child rights, engage dropped out youths to productive sectors and collaborate with the government`s and non-government`s sectors in order to develop a child protection system in the target communities, engaging marginal male and female farmers with agricultural activities using sustainable agriculture methods to meet their basic needs and nutrition as well as increase production, income and agro-based income generating activities for the well-being of their family specially children and community and thus transform their lives as a long-term impact in Bokshiganj Upazila under Jamalpur district.
∎ The program seeks few Program Officers and Field Animators to implement the planned activities as frontline change agent to achieve the expected results through effective management and implementation of the program activities.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Facilitate to implement child protection related activities such as digital literacy, mental health support for adolescent, prevent drug addiction use etc. in collaboration with government and project team
∎ Establishing child protection system in the community engaging local government, religious leaders, elite persons, parents and community people
∎ Support to form child partner selection committee and capacitate them
∎ Support/Conduct meeting with parents and children about recruiting as child partner
∎ Select the children as child partner in collaboration with child partner selection committee and others Program Officers
∎ Support to conduct house hold survey, introductory survey, annual survey and annual progress report of child partners
∎ Support to form community structures engaging disadvantage adults, adolescents and children
∎ Facilitate to develop annual/long term plan of child club and youth club
∎ Linkage with other agencies/taskforce/ programs
∎ Facilitate programs to promote convention of the rights of children/child protection policy on children with especially difficult circumstances and children with disability in the community
∎ Build capacity of facilitators, parents, communities, leaders and children in terms of sponsorship sensitization, community led child care and protection
∎ Facilitate to develop community based connection plan and monitoring mechanism
∎ Select, train, support and monitor community volunteers in implementing planned activities
∎ Work as child safeguard officer and prepare any incidence report connecting with head office
∎ Establish networks with GO/NGOs for smooth sponsorship operations and Child Protection and Empowerment programs
∎ Strengthen relationship with school management committee/self-help group/cluster level/people institutions, parents, teachers, Community, etc.
∎ Develop periodic management reports and submit on time
∎ Prepare case study or impact study time to time and share with respective stakeholders
∎ All reports and records are properly documented
∎ Coordinate to conduct periodic lessons learnt with different stakeholders and document it.

∎ Strong Knowledge on social dimension, Legal structure of the local government, power dynamics and government relations- Essential
∎ Good report writing and documentation ability- Essential

∎ Good knowledge on child rights-based, lifecycle, strengths, ethical practice and integrated & holistic development program Approach-Desirable
∎ Good communication, networking and facilitation skills- Essential
∎ Good proficiency in Bengali, both written and verbal- Essential
∎ Good time management skills- Essential
∎ Good proficiency in English, both written and verbal- Desirable
∎ Decision making, problem solving and multi-tasking skills- Essential
∎ Competent in using MS Word, MS Excel and PowerPoint presentation- Preferred
Salary:
∎ 25,000 - 30,000 Taka monthly and other benefits as per organizational policy
