Educational Requirements:
∎ Ph.D. in English with minimum two First Class/Div/A Grade out of which one First Class/Div/A Grade in Undergraduate/Graduate Program.
∎ At least 12 years of teaching experience at university level, out of which 05 years as an Associate Professor.
∎ Must have 15 publications to his/her credit, out of which 7 publications as Associate Professor.
∎ OR
∎ M. Phil in English with minimum two First Class/Div/A Grade.
∎ At least 18 years of teaching experience at university level, out of which 06 years as an Associate Professor.
∎ Must have 15 publications to his/her credit, out of which 7 publications as Associate Professor.
∎ OR
∎ MA and BA. in English from a reputed University. Must have achieved at least 03 x First Class/Div/A Grade in the entire educational curriculum.
∎ At least 20 years of teaching experience at university level, out of which 07 years as an Associate Professor.
∎ Must have 15 publications to his/her credit, out of which 7 publications as Assistant Professor.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Professor/Associate Professor under the Department of English. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
∎ Teaching graduate & undergraduate courses that meet the circular needs of the university with particular emphasis on Fundamental and advanced level of education on in all areas of English.
∎ Providing service and leadership to the dept; to external academic and English communities.
∎ Contributing to research through high quality publications.
∎ Sharing a deep commitment to effective instruction at the graduate & undergraduate level, development of innovative courses and mentoring of students in research and professional development.
∎ Developing pedagogical techniques designed to meet the needs of the diverse learning styles and intellectual interests.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.
