Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ A degree in Footwear Production will be preferred. However, educational qualification may be relaxed for the highly experienced/outstanding performers.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Direct and coordinate cutting, sewing and finishing operations in accordance to the shift wise planned production schedule
∎ Formulate work schedules for the production team and communicate expected deliveries to achieve the production targets and objectives
∎ Ensure efficient utilization of resources i.e. materials, labour, equipment to meet production targets and objectives
∎ Exhibit knowledge of layout planning, production process management while maintaining production schedule to adhere to shipment timelines
∎ Ensure complete adherence to organization's quality standards and practices keeping in mind quality and compliance requirements of international buyers
∎ Track the defined KPIs to have complete view of the production activities and take appropriate corrective actions to ensure adherence to the plan
∎ Resolve production operational issues by providing technical expertise and insights to the team
∎ Ensure final product in adherence to buyer requirements and specifications
∎ Drive and implement inventory control and cost savings initiatives within the department to achieve overall cost savings target for the organization
∎ Identify development opportunities (skill development trainings, technical training requirements) for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the production staff for improving the overall production standards.

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Factory Operation, Production planning, Production Process, Production/ Operation Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Tannery/Footwear - Leather and Synthetic.
∎ Minimum 10-12 years' experience of working in Footwear factories engaged in business with world-class customers/brands out of which an experience of 07 to 10 years as a Production Manager, managing overall functions of export oriented units.
∎ Good aptitude with skills to educate and manage operators doing multiple operations
∎ Knowledge of production planning, rejection control, maintaining of AQL and understanding of Industrial Engineering in apparel production
∎ Excellent communication skills with fair command over English language
∎ Knowledge of Internet & E-mail and other MS office programs.
∎ Leadership and motivation skills
∎ Knowledge of labor laws and other applicable statutory compliance
Salary: Negotiable
