Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills: Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant sales/procurement software.
∎ Other: Willingness to travel extensively.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop and manage a robust network of suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of quality agri-inputs (Seed, pesticide, feed etc.)
∎ Assist, build and motivate high-performing procurement & Sourcing teams.
∎ Provide training and feedback to enhance and streamline procurement to sales processes to enhance operational efficiency.
∎ Oversee procurement processes on product quality, branding budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting.
∎ Prepare supply projections and maintain accurate purchase records.
∎ Gather and analyze market report to identify opportunities.
∎ Stay on top of industry trends and regulatory changes.
∎ Achieve/exceed annual sourcing targets for Agri Input products.
∎ Increase year-on-year revenue growth.
∎ Drive sales of high-margin products.
∎ Expand market share and penetrate new customer segments.
∎ Using market reports to develop procurement strategies and annual plans.
∎ Negotiate contracts and maintain strong relationships with partners and conduct monthly follow up.
∎ Competitor analysis and identification of potential opportunities for products to be procured.
∎ Proactively adopting SKU lineups to fit the market changes and competitor activities.
∎ Cost savings achieved through effective procurement strategies (e.g., reduced purchase prices, bulk discounts from suppliers, etc.).
∎ Developing Supplier performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, product quality, responsiveness).
∎ Helping operations team to improve inventory turnover ratio and reduction in carrying costs.
∎ Expand the network of qualified suppliers added to the network.
∎ Assess product performance metrics (e.g., product performance, area wise performance, sales per representative, customer acquisition, etc.).
∎ Number of training programs conducted and employee participation rates.
∎ New product launches and market penetration success.
∎ Adoption of digital sales and procurement tools and technologies to ensure new product’s market presence.
∎ Collaboration with marketing and other departments.
∎ Key Deliverables:
