Educational Requirements:
∎ First class or equivalent in both Bachelor's and Master's Degrees and a Ph.D. from a reputable university.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall responsibility for managing teaching & learning activities at NSU with high quality and standards.
∎ Lead the academic planning at NSU and help set academic values, policies, and practices.
∎ Provide guidance to and manage performance of the deans of the various schools at NSU.
∎ Provide oversight to research and scholarship at NSU, working towards a high level of scholarly achievement at the university.
∎ Managing student affairs including clubs and student events.
∎ Acting as a member and chairing various committees of NSU as assigned.
∎ Planning and organizing on campus and external activities related to national events such as 21st February, 25th March, 26th March, 16th December.
∎ Overseeing the activities of the Medical Center, Pathology Lab, and Student Welfare Center.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the Vice-Chancellor and /or the NSU Board of Trustees.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 15 (fifteen) years of experience and progressively increasing responsibility in academic, administrative and research areas, including minimum of 10 (ten) years of teaching experience at the university level.
∎ Substantial experience of working in a senior administrative position, with proven leadership experience such as Chair, Dean, etc., at a reputable university is required.
∎ International academic experience at a reputable university will be an advantage.
∎ The successful candidate will have significant managerial experience, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated leadership acumen to help formulate and materialize institutional vision and objectives into practice at a university.
