Job Responsibilities:
∎ Input to product & pricing director to formulate pricing strategy based on market analysis, competitive pricing landscape, industry trend, macro-economic factors, network, and new enablers, etc.
∎ Prepare pricing roadmap and implement pricing strategy and monitor and evaluate the implemented strategy and advise and recommend any changes
∎ Prepare business case based on assumptions and inputs from historical trends, price elasticity, usage & consumptions pattern, segment profile, market trends, and competitive analysis
∎ Analysis and review of market intelligence and segment data, information on competitor activities, and consumer trends to assess market requirements
∎ Make a business proposal to take necessary approval based on the authority matrix within the allocated budget limit
∎ Periodically evaluate products, campaigns, and periodic review with FP&A and propose to the Product-pricing director/management for change and any other recommendations.
∎ Participate in Budget and Business Plan exercise and give input regarding forecasts like APPM, APPMB, MOU, MBOU, VAS & other service pricing.
∎ Collect OPEX and CAPEX assumptions from all commercial teams and incorporate them in the budget and BP after proper verification
∎ Ensure the pricing manager is equipped and trained well to deliver pricing input, provide guidance to employees for their development and career planning, and lead and coach to create synergies and smooth interactions with internal stakeholders
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 7-8 years of experience preferred in Telecom/ICT product, pricing & business planning role
∎ Expert in pricing, price benchmarking, competitive landscape preparation, and formulation of pricing strategy
∎ Sound knowledge in business case preparation for any new product/solution, any new and complex business proposal
∎ Expert in number crunching, analysis, and proposal preparation based on the summary of analysis
∎ Strong understanding of segmentation, pricing methodology, and business strategy
∎ Good commercial acumen
∎ Good understanding of the technical framework of Telecom Understanding of Billing systems, churn prediction models, and technology evolution
∎ Solid understanding of cost structure, cost efficiency drive and cost modeling to drive cost efficiency
∎ Comprehensive familiarity with a competitive environment, market trends, and consumer mindset
