Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Civil Engineering (CE) from any reputed University.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The duties and responsibilities of the Plumbing, Sanitation & Fire Detection and Protection Specialist will include but not limited to the following:
∎ Prepare the drafting of detailed plumbing & sanitary designs and drawings including water supply, drainage, ventilation, gas, surface water dewatering, architectural water body, fountain, and swimming pool, fire protection & detection systems etc. to ensure that the installation and operations comply with the code, standards, and project requirements.
∎ Prepare detailed calculations to compute and establish the technical specification of all types of equipment like water pump, fire pump, dewatering pump, mechanical ventilation etc. as well as sketch the basic civil structures that related to the utility equipment's.
∎ Coordinate and communicate with SCM and other related departments for specifications and quality of materials & tools. Review and respond to the designs, drawings, specifications & work schedule submitted by contractors/vendors.
∎ Prepare SOP, standard work productivity, and material wastage percentages for all related works to ensure that the executed works remain compliant and that costs and work progress are under control.
∎ Prepare detailed estimates, forecasts, and change orders of all materials, equipment & tools. Check & approve the MPR, MRR of P&S, fire materials.
∎ Preparation of works schedule and budget for ABP & Yearly Budget with S-curve.
∎ Prepare the Cost estimation of modification works with estimated duration & associated risks.
∎ Execute and supervise all P&S and fire work for all projects in accordance with specifications, cost, quality, and delivery dates.
∎ Monitoring of installation, testing & commissioning works.
∎ Rectify the detailed work schedule, resource allocation plan, planned productivity rate that submitted by the contractors.
∎ Review the safety standards, contractor safety procedures including hazard identification & risk assessment; ensuring the safety of the worksite during operation & development.
∎ Dealing with Fire Service & Civil Defense Department for connection with a Fire clearance certificate.
∎ Diligently communicate with Consultants/ Clients to acquire decisions concerning steady work progress
∎ Monitor & report to leadership management regarding project details, including progress, remedial measures, payment status, risks and opportunities promptly.
