Responsibilities & Context:
Installation: Installing pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters, dishwashers).
Maintenance & Repair: Repairing broken pipes, replacing faulty fixtures, clearing clogged drains, and performing preventative maintenance.
System Design Analysis: Reading and interpreting blueprints and building codes to plan pipe layouts.
System Testing: Testing pipe systems and fixtures for leaks using air or water pressure gauges.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety standards and local regulations while handling tools and hazardous materials.
Emergency Response: Responding to emergency calls, such as burst pipes, severe clogs, or sewer backups.
