Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and direct the organization's activities to achieve stated/agreed targets and standards for financial performance, quality, culture and legislative adherence
∎ Responsible for directing and controlling the daily operations of plant operation (Induction Furnace Technology, LRF and CCM) including Production, Quality Control, and overall Maintenance.
∎ Evaluate and provide timely corrective measures in the plant to maximize operating efficiency.
∎ Maintain a Quality system ensures high quality products are produced with a goal of zero quality defects.
∎ Monitor raw material & finished goods inventories to insure on-time deliveries meet goal and inventory accuracy are intact.
∎ Developing strategies to ensure the plant meets productions goals and standards at minimal manufacturing cost.
∎ Liaison with functional/departmental managers so as to understand all necessary aspects and needs of operational development, and to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives, purposes and achievements
∎ Be responsible for increased productivity and Technical Development ensuring full utilization of resources at minimum cost and breakdown.
∎ Stay up to date with latest production trends, best practices and technology.
∎ Maintain operations equipment with preventative and predictive structures in place.
∎ Responsible for annual budget planning and execution.
∎ Responsible for developing policies and procedures designed to increase productivity and mitigate production problems.
∎ Continually evaluate new technological advancements that can improve safety, quality, and financial metrics within the operation.
∎ To supervise and monitor the performance of production personnel to get optimum output at the end of the day.
∎ To take pro-active initiative to increase production by cost efficiently, reducing power consumption.
∎ Responsible for strategic and operational interactions with Scarp Management Team, Department Heads, Logistics Department, Supply Chain Management, Power Division and Top Management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Excellent communication skills in both English and Bengali
∎ Must be a TEAM player with strong interpersonal skills
∎ Analytical approach to decision making
∎ Result oriented
∎ Good analytical, presentation and negotiation skills.
