Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Responding to emergency calls, including 911 calls, and arriving at the scene promptly.
∎ Quickly evaluating the patient's condition and determining the appropriate course of action.
∎ Performing initial patient assessments and preliminary diagnoses.
∎ Administering first aid and life support, such as CPR and defibrillation.
∎ Providing wound care, bandaging injuries, and managing other medical emergencies.
∎ Administering medications, including pain relief, intravenous infusions, and other necessary treatments.
∎ Operating specialized equipment like ventilators and defibrillators.
∎ Stabilizing patients with head, neck, or back injuries.
∎ Assisting in childbirth emergencies.
