Educational Requirements:
∎ Complete B.Sc. in Optometrist course or medical doctors having public health background.
Job Context:
∎ Working Hours: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm (except weekly and public Holiday)
∎ Reports to: Program Manager
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Main Job: Responsible to ensure technical support and field level coordination of Orbis- Humanitarian response program in Cox's Bazar.
∎ Regularly monitor of project data entry and recording system through Patient Information System (PIS)/Digital Platform.
∎ Conduct Data Validation of outreach/Subjective evaluations, School screening programs, House to House programs, vision centres and base hospitals on a regular basis.
∎ Support partners to make functional of teleconsultation services between field and base hospital.
∎ Closely work with partner to ensure quality of services guided by Associate Director, Clinical Services, Program Technology and Research.
∎ Provide eye health related technical input/support any to the relevant I/NGOs and UN agencies mainly WHO, IOM, UNHCR and UNICEF.
∎ Monitor partner activities including patient's referral system, collect case stories with proper consent and share the draft case stories to PM for finalization.
∎ Provide input to project reports, provide monthly updates, prepare event reports, meeting notes including follow up actions any.
∎ Participate in health cluster and relevant meetings in Cox's Bazar
∎ Support Cox's Bazaar District Eye Care Planning and implementation process.
∎ Perform any other duties given by the authority from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Willingness to work with Rohingya community, visit Rohingya camp, work closely with partners and co-located at partner hospital in Cox's Bazar.
∎ Ability to support teleconsultation services, monitoring, provide input in reports and organizing events.
∎ Good interpersonal and communication skills (good at written & spoken in English).
∎ Ability to understand Cox's Bazar's local language.
∎ Well conversant with computer programs
∎ Willingness to work in the field and Rohingya camps and spend 50% time
Salary:
∎ Tk. 60000 (Monthly)
∎ Salary will be consolidated BDT. 60,000 per month (all inclusive).
