Responsibilities & Context:
∎ We’re in need of a Procurement Officer/Sr. Officer with about minimum 2/3 years working experience in manufacturing industries. He should be very conversant with all the processes, procedures and terms related to procurement of Agro Food manufacturing industries.
∎ Job Description for him is given below:
∎ • Procurement planning of materials based on Merchandising requirements for smooth production support.
∎ • Efficient Inventory management to ensure minimum stock holding days and maximum rolling of materials.
∎ • Proper sourcing and negotiations with vendors for optimum price and favorable terms & conditions.
∎ • Local Vendor management. Efficient fund management and ensuring minimum working capital requirement.
∎ • Maintain inter-departmental liaison including production and QC for smooth and on-time material support.
∎ • Cost-benefit analysis of different material sources & material options for best option selection.
∎ • Other assignments are given by the management from time to time.
