Job Responsibilities:
∎ Accomplish the strategies of effective procurement of Capex and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and operations) items within optimum cost and timeline
∎ In-depth category management knowledge for sourcing of capital machinery, spares and related services from different countries/local areas
∎ Float (RFQ) as per purchase requirement, negotiate for price, quality and service with the vendor; prepare CS and procurement proposal for management approval; raise Purchase order for required materials.
∎ Calculate total cost of ownership (TCO)/landed cost calculation, represent agenda for Procurement committee meeting for decision
∎ Execute the continuous improvement initiatives in terms of process, cost, quality & services to achieve targeted operational excellence
∎ Monitor and maintain close liaison with foreign & local suppliers to track price trend, supply scenario and on time shipments to ensure competitive price and availability of product on right time
∎ Source, Maintain and Develop pool of suppliers for all assigned categories
∎ Managing service contracts with the suppliers for ensuring after sales services. Monitor and evaluate periodical suppliers’ performance
∎ Perform any other duties of department as and when needed
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 32 years
∎ Should be result oriented and willingness to learn
∎ Should have interpersonal skill, contract management, analytical ability and presentation skill
∎ Should have capability on negotiations skills with vendors to arrive at win-win situations
∎ Should have good knowledge on Microsoft office suite especially MS Word, Excel, Power Point
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
