Job Responsibilities:
∎ Procurement Planning:
∎ Collaborate with different departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
∎ Develop and implement procurement plans based on organizational needs and budget constraints.
∎ Research and identify potential suppliers, vendors, and contractors.
∎ Sourcing and Vendor Management:
∎ Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
∎ Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and other relevant criteria.
∎ Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable contracts.
∎ Purchase Order Processing:
∎ Generate and process purchase orders for approved procurement requests.
∎ Ensure accuracy and completeness of purchase orders and related documentation.
∎ Coordinate with finance and accounting to track budgets and payments.
∎ Procurement Documentation:
∎ Maintain comprehensive records of all procurement activities, contracts, and supplier information.
∎ Prepare reports on procurement activities, including spending analysis and cost savings.
∎ Contract Management:
∎ Monitor and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
∎ Work with legal and compliance teams to review and finalize contractual agreements.
∎ Inventory Management:
∎ Collaborate with inventory and warehouse teams to manage stock levels and ensure availability of required items.
∎ Monitor inventory turnover and identify slow-moving or obsolete items.
∎ Quality Assurance:
∎ Ensure that procured goods and services meet the required quality standards.
∎ Address any quality issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly.
∎ Risk Management:
∎ Identify potential risks in the procurement process and implement mitigation strategies.
∎ Stay updated on industry trends and changes that may impact procurement activities.
∎ Compliance and Ethics:
∎ Adhere to the organization's procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
∎ Promote transparency and fairness in the procurement process.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 21 to 45 years
∎ Knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.
∎ Strong negotiation and communication skills.
∎ Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
∎ Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
