Job Context:
∎ Bit Body Bangladesh Limited (BBBL) is a subsidiary of Bit Body, Inc., USA. We manufacture custom made clothing for our clients globally under our own brand MTailor (www.MTailor.com). BBBL has its production headquarters in Bangladesh and is looking for an experienced Officer for commercial department at its head office cum factory located in Bogabari Bazar, Baipail, Ashulia, Dhaka.
∎ The mission for this role is to assist the head of commercial in accomplishing day-to-day commercial related tasks/activities and help improve the commercial processes.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Carry out activities on customs clearance of imported materials, In-bond/Inter bond and Ex-bond/out-bond operation with BBLC process independently.
∎ Perform all logistics activities of export/import on-time and in-house as per requirements.
∎ Coordinate with overseas offices, suppliers, F/F, C&F agents as assigned by the supervisor.
∎ Carry out assigned duties for bond license renewal and bond limit (one time/ yearly) as per customs bond requirement.
∎ Assist in customs bond and audit thereof.
∎ Maintain liaison with customs, bond authority, VAT authority, banks and other relevant bodies as per guideline.
∎ Actively perform all UP/ UD related activities (as assigned) of the company independently.
∎ Distribute and/or collect necessary documents to/from BGMEA, BIDA, Banks and other authorities meeting deadlines.
∎ Carry out assignments on renewal of various licenses, e.g. Bond License, Trade License, ERC, IRC, Fire License, Factory License, Boiler License, Explosive License etc. before expiry.
∎ Maintain VAT and bond records and registers.
∎ Maintain any commercial documents/records as per legal requirements.
