Job Context:
∎ We are looking for person who can lead the Nursing Services Department of the Hospital. The candidate should have proven experience in a nursing leadership role, outstanding organizational skills and in-depth knowledge of healthcare industry policies.
∎ Job Location : Green Road, Dhanmondi, Dhaka 1205.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing and leading all nursing personnel operations.
∎ Developing short and long-term goals for the entire nursing department.
∎ Establishing new policies and updating existing policies to improve the standard of care for patients.
∎ Planning and overseeing admission, nursing, and patient care processes.
∎ Maintaining department budgets and recording all expenses.
∎ Responding to any nursing-related issues in a timely manner.
∎ Coordinating with medical staff and other departments to ensure hospital efficiency.
∎ Overseeing all record-keeping processes and ensuring all necessary documents are accurate and up-to-date.
∎ Hiring and training new nursing staff members.
∎ Evaluating staff performance and preparing accurate reports detailing your findings.
∎ Manpower planning of nursing staff for the present and future activities/ expansions.
∎ Monitoring Quality Indicators and providing the information to the appropriate committee or personnel.
∎ Going on day-to-day rounds to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing care.
∎ Collecting all the incident reports and analyzing them to find the Root Cause Analysis.
∎ Correcting/ counseling and educating the staff in the event of errors/ mistakes/ complaints/ negligence reported.
∎ Participating and contributing to the discussions related to patient care and other hospital-related through various meetings held especially through committee meetings.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 15 years (At least 05 years in leadership/ similar position) of relevant experience in reputed Hospital.
∎ Experience of JCI accreditation process will get preference.
∎ In-depth knowledge of legal policies and regulations in the healthcare industry.
∎ Certified nursing and CPR qualifications.
∎ Aptitude for problem-solving.
∎ Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
∎ Outstanding written and verbal communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ Must have valid license.
∎ Strong command in MS Excel & MS Word.
∎ Ability to remain, objective and professional in challenging situations.
∎ Ability to work in fast paced work environment both independently and in a group.
