Educational Requirements:
∎ B.A. Hons. (Music) / Bachelors of Arts Honours in Music from a recognized university with CGPA 3 and above.
∎ Knowledge / training in several musical instruments.
∎ Additional diploma/ course in music will be added advantage.

∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ We are looking for a Music instructor who is passionate about teaching children and adults to sing or play instruments.
∎ Chittagong Grammar School – Dhaka (CGS-D) Banani campus
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Teach music to students including voice, tone, tempo and rhythm skills.
∎ Train, rehearse and lead students in school cultural and other programmes.
∎ Conduct music classes according to school rules and regulations.
∎ Develop and maintain an effective music educational programme for students.
∎ Schedule regular classes to instruct and rehearse within assigned time.
∎ pick up and understand potentials and skills of each student and guide individual student according to their skills
∎ Evaluate student performance and provide feedback and assistance to improve their musical skills.
∎ Maintain lesson plans and instructional materials for students.
∎ Recommend maintenances and repairs for musical instruments when necessary
∎ maintain student behavioral standards to ensure productive and disciplined environment during group rehearsals, practices and performances
∎ Collaborate with school administration to organize musical programmes for external and internal productions.
∎ Maintain student grading and attendance records.
∎ Evaluate student progress and ensure that students complete regular assignments.
∎ Monitor students in and out of Music room.
∎ Maintain safe and positive learning environment for students.
∎ Participate in curriculum development programmes, student activities and faculty committees.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 55 years
∎ Computer literacy is a must
∎ Both males and females may apply
∎ Minimum 2 years teaching experience in reputed English medium schools.
∎ Good level of proficiency in English (both verbal & written) and Bangla is essential.
Salary: Negotiable
