Job Responsibilities:
∎ JOB SUMMARY:
∎ Under the general supervision of the laboratory manager, performs testing procedures on patient blood samples. The incumbents should be able to work independently, may evaluate test results, and exercise some initiative in determining additional or follow-up tests
∎ ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS:
∎ Performs various testing procedures as assigned.
∎ Performs a variety of duties relative to the running of tests assigned, e.g., prepares all necessary test materials, records and reports test results for the patients to the doctors.
∎ Maintains laboratory equipment (cleaning, calibrating, repairing), Donor database updating, Necessary paperwork - Daily maintaining sheet for blood bank cleaning, Preservation of blood slip, Donor form, Requisition paper etc.
∎ Performs specialized assignments as requested, e.g., Blood donor fitness only in Emergency cases, Proper blood donor care after post blood donation.
∎ Possesses knowledge and ability to perform most or all tests in the laboratory; fills assistances /helps for other employees when necessary.

∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum two years experience as Medical Technologist.
∎ Overall knowledge of Laboratory & Blood Bank activities needed .
∎ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Salary: Tk. 16000 (Monthly)
