Job Context:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
∎ Ensuring the standardization and calibration of Nuclear Medicine equipments for the accuracy and safety of physical methods used in routine clinical applications in close cooperation with medical doctors and other personnel
∎ Share responsibility in quality control of all Nuclear Medicine equipment.
∎ Ensuring that imaging and treatment facilities meet the rules and regulations of the nuclear safety, radiation control and health safety issues.
∎ To do thorough investigation of equipment performance, organization of quality control in imaging systems, design of radiation installations, and control of radiation hazards.
∎ To be involved in supervision of the daily background radiation monitoring/surveying of the work place
∎ Ensuring radiation protection of patients, workers, patients’ attendants and members of the public.
∎ To supervise the radioactive waste management procedure to ensure perfect radioactive waste management system in the work place.
∎ To survey and monitor the status of all the lead aprons, periodically and as per request.
∎ To instruct radiation workers on radiation hazards and safety measures to minimize the radiation exposure.
∎ To survey and monitor the workplace as per requirement of radiology department in an effort to ensure radiation protection of patients, workers, and members of the public.
∎ Ensure that the dose received by the workers does not exceed regulatory/permissible limit.
∎ Motivating and encouraging all workers working in the control areas wear personnel monitoring devices in an effort to ensure that they comply with the requirement.
∎ To address any nuclear safety and radiation control issue, in case of any occurrence.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
