The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, assisting consultants in clinical management, conducting regular patient rounds, and ensuring high standards of healthcare delivery. The role requires strong clinical knowledge, good communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Examine, diagnose, and treat patients under the supervision of consultants.
Conduct patient rounds, monitor progress, and maintain proper medical records.
Provide emergency care and manage critical cases until senior doctors intervene.
Prescribe medicines, order diagnostic tests, and interpret reports.
Assist in minor procedures and patient counselling.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies & protocols
Coordinate with nurses and other healthcare staff for quality care
Qualifications & Requirements:
MBBS degree from a recognised university.
Valid BMDC registration.
1–3 years of clinical experience in hospital/clinic in Dhaka
Ability to work in 24 hour shifts, including weekends.
Good interpersonal and communication skills in Bangla and English.
Strong commitment to patient care, empathy, and teamwork.
