Experience:

• At least 1 years

• Medical Graduate and registered with Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council with updated registration.

• Diploma/Certificate course in USG.

• At least 1 years

• Age at most 40 years (as per NID card).

• The applicant must be a non-smoker.

• Self-motivated, and energetic with time management skills.

• Attitude for working with the poor and the marginalized people.

• Competency in MS Office package.

• Smart and well-conversant with professionalism.

• Good written and verbal communication skill in English & Bengali.

• Must possess the ability to work under pressure; should have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision; should have a good command of both written and spoken English.

• Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in providing Primary Health care through NGO-run clinics.

• Should have competency in MS office packages, email, and web browsing.

ASA is the largest microfinance organization in Bangladesh. As part of its corporate social responsibilities, ASA is providing healthcare services through its 81 primary health centers and 12 Integrated Health Centers which are spread across the country. We are currently seeking applications from eligible individuals to fill the position of Medical Officers for one of its Integrated Health Centers located in Jhalakathi.

• Provide personal, family, and community-orientated comprehensive primary healthcare medical services to the target population. As a part of the team, s/he is responsible for providing patient-centered, culturally appropriate, and holistic health care.

• Provide family planning services, with contraceptive advice and sexual/reproductive health services.

• Ensure Immunization programs are made available to the target population.

• Prepare monthly reports, health center budgets, and drug requisitions on a regular basis.

• Supervise staff under own supervision (Paramedic, Lab technician Counselor, Physiotherapist, Health assistants, etc.).

• Provide technical assistance to paramedics, Lab technician, and Health assistants to improve their technical competencies.

• Ensure cleanliness of the health center as well as quality health services.

• Ensure effective and timely coordination and liaison with head office, government bodies, other stakeholders, and the local community as and when required.

• Take initiative to increase client/patient satisfaction.

• Maintain proper documentation and records of all services and generate necessary reports as per office requirements.

• Carry out other related and lawful duties as and when assigned by the supervisor/the authority.

• Probation period will be 1 (one) year long. After successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be accommodated in the regular Pay Scale of ASA.

• All admissible benefits like Contributory Provident Fund, Gratuity, Yearly Increment, Festival Allowance, Naboborsho Allowance (Boishakhy) and Employee`s Group Benefit Fund will be attributed.
