∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 35 years
∎ Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
∎ Proficiency in mechanical design software (such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks) and knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards.
∎ Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, thermodynamics, and mechanical systems analysis.
∎ Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex mechanical issues and propose effective solutions. Experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies will be beneficial.
∎ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams, present technical information, and prepare comprehensive reports.
∎ Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to changing priorities. Display a proactive and positive attitude towards teamwork and continuous growth.
∎ Demonstrated commitment to safety in all aspects of work. Understanding of safety regulations and practices within manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and address potential issues.
∎ Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
∎ Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and execute necessary repairs.
∎ Installation and Commissioning:
∎ Oversee the installation of new machinery, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
∎ Collaborate with suppliers and contractors during equipment commissioning to ensure proper functionality.
∎ Troubleshooting:
∎ Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems in a timely manner to minimize production disruptions.
∎ Implement corrective actions to address recurring issues and improve overall equipment reliability.
∎ Process Optimization:
∎ Work closely with production teams to optimize mechanical processes for efficiency and quality.
∎ Identify opportunities for improvements and implement changes to enhance overall productivity.
∎ Ensure that all mechanical systems and equipment comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
∎ Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective measures as needed.
∎ Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and spare parts inventory.
∎ Generate reports on equipment reliability, maintenance costs, and improvement initiatives.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the plant's mechanical systems and equipment. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of machinery used in garment washing processes.
