Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Education (M.Ed) in Material development, Master of Arts (MA) in English ELT
∎ Experience in teaching and facilitating online or blended courses or digital learning.
∎ Cambridge ESOL CELTA (or equivalent) experience is preferred.
∎ Language teaching (ELT) experience, including general and business English courses for adults is also preferred.
∎ Track record of successful writing of high-quality ELT materials that facilitate effective learning, and are also engaging.
∎ Experience in material design for online and blended courses. If not commercially published, then other evidence of success is required.
∎ Track record in delivering quality work as commissioned, to the deadline, and without close supervision.
∎ Experience of working remotely with a team of writers.
∎ Jahangirnagar University,University of Dhaka,North South University,Independent University, Bangladesh,BRAC University students will get preference
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Cambridge ESOL Celta,ELT,ESL
∎ Skills Required: English (Language), IELTS will get extra preference

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): BOOK PUBLISHING, Content Developer, English (Language), Training Materials Development
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Training Institutes
∎ Freshers are also encouraged to apply.

Job Context:
∎ The content writers have to design courses (ranging from 1 hour to 5 hours for each course) with a focus on IELTS preparation, English language development, and communication. In addition to face-to-face lessons, the materials are likely to play a significant role in English clubs, which will be learner-driven and provide additional engagement opportunities after the classroom sessions.
∎ Furthermore, the materials will need to be culturally aligned with the target audience while at the same time exposing the learners to international varieties of English.
∎ Content will need to meet academic quality standards and guidelines agreed upon by BARC.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Contribute to discussions on the material development process during the briefing (face-to-face or remote).
∎ Produce materials (A1, A2, B1, B2, and C1 levels) for face-to-face and online content (50-100 hours per level) within the established time frame.
∎ Ensure materials positively demonstrate standard English, safeguarding equality, diversity, and inclusion, and environmental policies and standards.
∎ Work closely with the team to ensure the material design meets online learning objectives and outcomes.
∎ Attend regular progress review meetings face-to-face or online.
∎ Review and revise materials in line with feedback received from peers and the team leader.
∎ Develop a quality assurance framework for pre-, in-, and post-use analysis of the materials.
