∎ Class I - Master FG (Foreign Going)
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The master has the overall responsibility in administration, management, and financial control over safe and economical shipboard operation.
∎ The master shall be responsible for the maintenance of crew discipline on board and shall set as a role model to his subordinates.
∎ The master must satisfy himself before putting his vessel to sea that the ship is seaworthy and safe in all respects.
∎ Whilst at sea, the safety of the crew, ship and cargo are to be the master's main concern.
∎ The master shall ensure that all certificates being used by the vessel are valid.
∎ The master shall make himself fully conversant with all the company and charterers' instructions regarding the commercial operation of the vessel as well as local regulations governing the vessel's stay in port, paying particular attention to all aspects of environmental pollution prevention in port and whilst at sea.
∎ The master shall ensure that all ship's accounts are properly kept, and returned to the company in time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Having one year experience in bulk carrier with same designation is preferable.
∎ Knowledge on fire safety and security issues.
∎ Ability of hazards identification and risk management.
∎ Positive approach to critical situation handling.
∎ Solid technical know-how.
∎ Sound interpersonal Skill.
