The group also operates one of the largest fleet of vessels within the country & consist of companies that may provide end to end logistical support. The company also manufactures & trades building materials such as stone, cement & plastic products.
∎ Currently we are Looking for a Marine Engineer , candidates having 4-6 years of working experience in shipbuilding sector will get preference.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Performs duties involving the engine repairing, overhauling, removing, adjusting, dismantling, assembling, disassembling, components, parts and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units of a wide variety of marine engine and generator engine equipment etc.
∎ Reconditions and replaces parts, such as pistons, bearings, gears, valves and bushings, using engine lathes, boring machines, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
∎ Trouble shooting and maintenance winch engine, various types of fuel pump, inlet & exhaust valve alignment check, Engine tappet, fuel timing check and adjust, lube oil cooler dye check, pressure check, tube clean etc.
∎ Production monitoring & follow up shift operation.
∎ Provides technical assistance, guidance to lower level mechanics.
∎ Ensure product as per specification and plan with vendors.
∎ Maximum utilization of man & materials.
∎ Performs other tasks as assign by management.
∎ Ability to read and interpret schematics.
∎ Good oral, written, and inter-personal skills.
∎ A safety first mind set.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
∎ Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
∎ Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective distribution of goods.
∎ Critical Thinking, Judgment and Decision Making , Time Management.
∎ to be thorough and pay attention to detail.
