Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Clearing and Forwarding, Export/ Import through L/C, Liaison With Local Government
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Industrial Machineries (Generator, Diesel Engine etc.), Power

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Sourcing, collecting proposal, offers comparison, verification, negotiation, selection of Product/Service provider, contract execution on the basis of management approval as per requirement of the company.
∎ Co-ordinate with Bank for establishing L/C, TT. To maintain all kind of bank (including Bangladesh Bank) formalities.
∎ Follow-up with supplier to ensure timely delivery of products/service.
∎ To prepare and monitor the Local & International shipping documents.
∎ Monitor and communicate for C&F formalities and make delivery arrangement of product at designated location.
∎ Obtain all regulatory required documents from concern government authority and keep updated.
∎ Arrange Marine/Fire insurance coverage and in case of any loss arrange proper claim with loss assessment and realization.
∎ Any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the management.
∎ Monitor and communicate BPDB, CCI&E related work.
∎ Liaison with IRDA, NBR, Customs, CCI&E, Rajuk, Fire service, DOE, Boiler and DCC office.
∎ To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation in all aspects of the job.
∎ Explore new business opportunity with the existing business expansion persuasion with different Govt. organization as & when requested by management’s instruction.
∎ To take a proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation in all aspects of the job.
∎ Encourage others in the department to communicate and build effective working relationships with the suppliers.
∎ Effective team work within the department and among all other department of the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 41 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Strong oral and written communication skill both in Bengali and English is must
∎ Have sound Knowledge of International and Local laws regarding Import/ Export to & from Bangladesh.
∎ Self - motivated, confident, proactive and target oriented.
∎ Must be updated on the latest Customs and International Trade Laws is essential to be proficient in this position.
∎ Knowledge about handle of Port and Customs Operation effectively.
∎ Should have good analytical ability and highest level of professional integrity.
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge in International business, Trading, Negotiation, Customs/Bank/Export /LC/Freight Forwarding/ C&F/ Supply Chain.
∎ Must have sound knowledge with VAT, Board of Investment.
