∎ Well Computer and Software Knowledge related to SCM.
∎ Be flexible to provide off-hour support Ability to work under stressful situation.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive approach.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Support to Import & International Procurement Functions
∎ On time LC and TT Opening from Bank. Sending Original Documents for setting endorsed from Bank and need to send to CHA on same day.
∎ Ensuring correct documentation and report keeping and file keeping related with import.
∎ Zero detention and ontime cargo clearing from port.
∎ Making sure WH will not entertain stock out issues for import items.
∎ Taking Supply Chain Cost savings initiatives which contribution towards to bottom line of the business.
∎ Meeting the assign job role properly and circulating related report to HOD-SCM.
∎ Accountabilities: Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of customs process, documentations and commercial activities. Will collect quotation, prepare CS and raise PO, check PI, all terms of Incoterm, payment term, description of goods and HSN code and will submit for LC/TT opening in right time to bank.
∎ Have to ensure to send LC and TT copy to supplier within the same date of opening. Need to check WN documents and original documents and submit to bank for endorsement. Need to send original documents to CHA on time.
∎ Need to close monitoring on every consignment and make sure shipment from supplier-end taking place on time. And no delay shipment encountered.
∎ Need to collaborate with Freight Forwarder and CHA and Shipping line for making sure that import goods are cleared from port on time without detention.
∎ Need to have sound knowledge on letter of credit, banking activates related with.
∎ Need to close monitoring with ware-house team for inventory management.
∎ And ensure plant will not faces shortages of RM.
∎ Liaison with Bond, Customs and related government and non-government stakeholders/Offices as and when required.
