To strengthen our continuous business growth ambition in Bangladesh, we are currently looking for a smart and energetic individual for our Supply Chain Team:
∎ Position: Manager-Supply Chain (Import)
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Preparation of Import documentation.
∎ Communication with overseas suppliers, negotiation with supplier and find new suppliers.
∎ Responsible to manage all commercial activities (e.g. arranging PI/Indent, L/C open, amendment/correction, shipment, negotiation, payment realization, release etc.) through overseas phone and e-mail.
∎ Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping line, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, Customs & VAT department, etc.
∎ Follow up of Import L/C and ensure proper HS code for timely clearance from customs and save additional cost.Communicate with transport agency for carrying goods to Factory warehouse.
∎ Communicate with confirming bank for add confirmation of Import LC at a competitive price.
∎ Negotiate with bank for preferential exchange rate for Import.
∎ Follow up Annual Import Entitlement with customs bond.
∎ Closely follow up all commercial process execute in timely and cost effectively.
∎ Follow up and maintain commercial reports related to Import activities and inform management as required.
∎ Other related task of Supply Chain department
