Qualifications:

• Proven experience in student counseling or advising, preferably in the context of study abroad.
• Strong understanding of the study abroad process and international education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and establish trust.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software systems
• Experience in team leadership and management (preferred).

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Student Counselor Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students succeed and a strong understanding of the study abroad process.

As a Student Counselor Manager, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive guidance and support to students considering study abroad programs. You will advise students on various program options, eligibility requirements, application procedures, financial assistance, and other relevant topics.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling:

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with students to assess their individual needs and goals.
• Provide comprehensive information about study abroad programs, including program options, destinations, academic requirements, and cultural considerations.
• Assist students in identifying suitable programs based on their academic interests, career aspirations, and personal preferences.
• Guide students through the application process, including completing application forms, obtaining necessary documents, and meeting deadlines.
• Advise students on financial aid options, scholarships, and budgeting.
• Offer support and guidance throughout the study abroad experience, including pre-departure orientation, in-country support, and re-entry assistance.

Program Development and Management:

• Collaborate with partner institutions and organizations to develop new study abroad programs.
• Manage existing study abroad programs, ensuring their quality and effectiveness.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the field of study abroad.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage a team of student counselors, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
