∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering, Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical Engineering
∎ B.sc & M.sc in Mechanical Engineering from any reputed public /private university with good academic results.

∎ Must have sufficient knowledge of diesel engines, PLC, and hydraulic systems, and be capable of diagnosing issues for proper repair and maintenance.
∎ Must have work knowledge in local & foreign procurement and also sourcing of related work.
∎ Must have team lead capability.
∎ Experience in Dredging Maintenance Work will get performance.
∎ Must have strong proficiency in MS Office applications, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
∎ Must possess excellent communication skills.
∎ Should be flexible in taking on various responsibilities.
∎ Must have strong presentation skills in both Bangla and English.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To oversee the regular maintenance tasks of different vessels such as dredgers, work boats, tug boats, and other supporting vessels/Heavy equipment.
∎ Consult with foreign dredger experts in case of any major mechanical breakdown.
∎ Repairing non-functional dredgers/work boats by engaging a maintenance team to address the issues.
∎ Monitoring the maintenance team's work and preparing plans for docking, repairs, and replacements of dredgers and their accessories.
∎ Maintaining and supervising the inventory of consumable items at the site and central store, and coordinate with procurement team for procuring necessary supplies from domestic and international suppliers.
∎ Ensure that Maintenance work, purchase and services are accurately recorded in the Company’s SAP ERP software, and prepare and present precise report to the Board of Directors.
∎ Supervising and managing the construction of various work boats, tug boats, and auxiliary vessels being built at different shipyards.
∎ Provide both theoretical and practical training.
∎ Conduct inspections on the dredger to ensure proper functioning of all operations.
∎ Ensure scheduled maintenance for smooth operations and possess knowledge of reporting for each dredger and vessel.
∎ Prepare budgets and plans for future forecasting to ensure efficient operations.
∎ Job Location: Head Office.
