Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 15 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Supply Chain
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Pharmaceuticals, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Supply Chain, Tannery/Footwear
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Coordinate, supervise and evaluate all procurement activities consulting with the management according to company procurement process
∎ Manage and control all the company's external suppliers with particular emphasis on the purchase of materials for production
∎ Ensure parts and materials are bought at the most competitive price and delivered on time for production
∎ Work with multiple vendors to determine the best deals for the company based on price, quality, speed of delivery, payment terms and other factors
∎ Create and extract the best deal available and ensure quality
∎ Establish strategic relationships with key suppliers who are aligned with the company's needs
∎ Identify new suppliers, develop vendor list, agree terms and negotiate supply agreements
∎ Foster close working relationships with associated departments eg. Sales & Marketing, Factory, etc.
∎ Continually improve purchasing methods and drive down cost
∎ Carry out a comprehensive review of the purchasing function and its methodology and identify and implement improvements
∎ Assess performance of the vendors based on various criteria such as percentage of rejections, quality improvement, safety, timely delivery, credit terms, etc.
∎ Work with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively
∎ Manage supply chain for achievement of targets within specified parameters
∎ Ensure the bill management according to the best interest of the organization without hampering the procurement
∎ Perform any other relevant job as per the management's requirement
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 32 to 42 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Sound negotiation skills and strong analytical ability
∎ Good communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Honest, target oriented and self-motivated
∎ Ability to handle difficult situation and meet the deadline
Salary: Negotiable
