∎ Bachelor / Masters from any reputed University
Experience Requirements:
∎ 8 to 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Commercial, Export/ Import through L/C, Freight Forwarding/ C&F
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Agro based firms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/GM)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Developing and implementing procurement strategy & policies and forecast procurement needs.
∎ Prepare purchase requisitions, approve, issues purchase orders and ensure authorization as necessary to facilitate the timely purchase in accordance with company policy
∎ Monitor macro trends in supplier and contract base and implement plans to react.
∎ Responsible for all kinds of import and banking commercial documentation.
∎ Update shipment schedule for all raw materials to be imported.
∎ Prepare L/C, amendment, retire documents etc through bank.
∎ Maintain relation with C & F agents, Freight Forwarder, & transport to take all necessary steps for ensuring safe arrival of the consignment to the construction site.
∎ Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment's in a timely and cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
∎ Collect competitive price from suppliers & prepare comparative statement for management decision. Update task list such as meeting, important work & to avoid any mistake.
∎ Make a liaison with respective departments for strong import planning & take necessary steps if crisis period of short stock occur.
∎ Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Must have the work experience in poultry sector.
∎ Ability to speak read and write English.
∎ Willingness to work independently with self-direction under pressure.
∎ Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
∎ Ability to work extended days on an occasional basis.
∎ Ability to organize and prioritize a variety of tasks/projects.
∎ Ability to work within strict time frames and resolute deadlines.
Salary: Negotiable
