Experience:
Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Academic background or professional certification in Security Management, Criminology, Risk Management, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Fire Safety, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
Key Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of physical security, access control, CCTV, and emergency response.
Sound understanding of workplace safety, fire safety, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and security reporting systems.
Experience Requirements:
8+ years of progressive experience in Safety and Security operations.
At least 3 years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
Experience in corporate offices, manufacturing, retail, commercial facilities, or a reputed conglomerate will be preferred.
BYSL Global Technology Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Manager, Safety and Security to lead the organization's safety and security operations across all business locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting employees, visitors, company assets, and facilities by implementing effective security strategies, maintaining workplace safety standards, managing security personnel, mitigating operational risks, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, safety procedures, and access control measures across all company locations.
Lead and supervise Site Supervisors, Security Associates, and outsourced security personnel to ensure effective daily security operations.
Conduct security risk assessments, site inspections, and operational audits, implementing corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
Oversee CCTV, access control, fire detection, alarm systems, visitor management, and asset protection to ensure workplace security.
Develop and maintain emergency response, fire safety, evacuation, and business continuity plans.
Conduct regular drills, awareness programs and training sessions for employees and security personnel.
Investigate security incidents, accidents, theft, fraud, and policy violations, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, occupational safety standards, fire safety regulations, and applicable legal requirements.
Maintain security records, incident reports, and statutory documentation, and prepare periodic security and risk reports for management.
Collaborate with internal departments, external service providers, and regulatory authorities to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management.
