Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implementing and maintaining the standard purchasing process, establish purchase policy and strategy with a view to enhance savings and reduce waste. Devising and using fruitful sourcing strategies in spinning division
∎ Make sure all the requisite and approved commodities availability as per the specification spinning division.
∎ Develop a purchasing & material sourcing policy, set a standard lead time for delivering to the end consumer spinning division.
∎ Initiate and develop creative and innovative procurement processes for Spinning purchase
∎ Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriate.
∎ Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
∎ Develop, implement and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and compliance.
∎ Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of requirement specifications and expectations of the company.
∎ Achieve the set procurement target in coordination with team members.
∎ Onboard and develop value-added suppliers and nurture partnerships.
∎ Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
∎ Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
∎ Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
∎ Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
∎ Preparing detail reports on procurement and deliveries in spinning division.
