Experience:

• 5 to 7 years

• Diploma in Medical Technology in Pharmacy. However, the educational qualification is relaxable if there is vast experience in the said profession.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Pharmacy

• Reviews prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed medicine, and to evaluate their suitability.

• Plans, implements, and maintains procedures for storing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals according to policy and legal requirements to ensure quality, security, and proper disposal.

• Provides information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.

• Maintains records such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories and maintains registries of narcotics, and controlled drugs.

• Overseeing the work of and mentoring subordinate staff.

• Ensure proper management of the date expired medicine items from time to time.

• Advises customers on the selection of medication brands, and health care supplies.

• Collaborates with other health care professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of drugs and drug regimens, providing advice on drug applications and characteristics.

• Analyzes prescribing trends to monitor patient compliance and to prevent excessive usage or harmful interactions.

• Orders and purchases pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, and drugs, maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly.

• Must have good understanding of prescription.

• Must have complete understanding of domestic and foreign medicines, inject-able items, insulin and surgical items available in Bangladesh market.

• Ensuring room temperature and product shelf life is correct at all times.

• To be aware of all the rules and regulations of Drug Authority and Consumer Authority.

• Return expired medications to the company to ensure proper refills.

• Customers need to be served quickly.

• To perform all other tasks required by the company.
