Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts (BA)

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Technology, Fashion Design, Business Administration, Marketing or a relevant discipline.

Professional qualifications/training in Apparel Merchandising, Marketing, Product Development or Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Candidates with strong relevant industry experience and proven lingerie merchandising/business development capability may receive preference.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Lingerie Manufacturing

• Age At least 35 years

8–12 years of relevant professional experience in the Garments/Textile/Apparel/Buying House/Sourcing industry.

Candidates with substantial experience in Lingerie/Intimate Apparel Marketing & Merchandising will be strongly preferred.

Proven experience in buyer handling, business development and order acquisition is highly desirable.

Candidates should preferably have experience handling products from development to shipment independently.

Experience in dealing with international buyers, brands or sourcing offices will be an added advantage.

Job Context:

Skandex Textile Industries Limited is expanding its Lingerie Business Project. As part of this strategic expansion, we are looking for a dynamic, commercially driven and experienced professional for the position of Manager – Marketing & Merchandising who can take a leadership role in developing new business, building strong buyer relationships and managing the complete merchandising cycle of lingerie products.

The incumbent will play a key role in building the company's Lingerie Marketing & Merchandising function, developing international buyer/brand relationships, generating new business opportunities and ensuring smooth execution of products from concept and product development through sampling, costing, order confirmation, production and shipment.
