B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing or relevant discipline.

• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Group of Companies, Lingerie Manufacturing

• Age At least 28 years

3–6 years of relevant experience in Garments IE/Product Development.

Experience in knitwear and lingerie product development will be preferred.

Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes and sewing operations.

Good knowledge of SMV, operation bulletin, method study and capacity analysis.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Context

Scandex Textile Industries Limited is developing a specialized Lingerie & Knitwear Product Development and Sample Room with integrated manufacturing facilities covering Knitting, Yarn Dyeing, Knit Dyeing, CPB Dyeing and Knit Garments.

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Development IE (Industrial Engineering) professional to support new product development, analyze garment construction methods, establish preliminary SMV, optimize sewing operations and ensure production feasibility from the sample development stage. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with Design, Merchandising, Pattern, Garment Technical and Production teams, with strong potential for professional development and career growth.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and establish efficient sewing methods and construction processes during product development.

• Analyze new styles and identify operation breakdown, SMV, manpower and production feasibility.

• Conduct method study and operation analysis for new products.

• Support sample room in developing production-friendly construction methods.

• Identify potential bottlenecks and technical/production risks during development.

• Work closely with Garment Technician, Pattern Technician, Merchandising, Sample Room and Production teams.

• Establish preliminary SMV and operation bulletin for new styles.

• Suggest process improvements to reduce operation time, cost and wastage.

• Support line balancing and production feasibility analysis before bulk production.

• Assist in improving productivity and efficiency from development stage to bulk production.

• Maintain style-wise IE records and development reports.
